McKone for the holidays

Marvel Comics announced that the new, not-so-secret artistic talent taking over Fantastic Four will be outgoing Teen Titans artist Mike McKone. How do I feel about this? Hm. Well, considering McKone did very little aside from Exiles at Marvel to garner any kind of acclaim, and the fact that he gained mucho props and coverage from his TT work, I have to wonder how sound this decision is. While JMS, his writing collaborator, is a fairly hot creator, why leave a book with arguably the top writer in comics (not quality-wise, but a combo of reputation and sales...I already know people are gonna gripe about this) to join a writer clearly on the decline (Gwen's kids? Has anything happened in Supreme Power?) on a book that couldn't do much with two top-notch creators just a few months ago.
