Ch-ch-changes abound

Before you start pounding your head against the wall wondering why the counter under my Brett Blevins Batman mug is substantially below the previous count of 3,405, don't worry. The Great Curve is going through some changes. Here's the rundown:

* We have a new counter. It's snazzier, and gives me more info about who is visiting.

* We have a new comments system. My apologies to all our regular posters (Tim, Zach, Brendan, et al), but your comments were lost in the shift. Don't let that deter you from commenting, though! We won't make a habit of this. Promise.

* Finally, there are two new, very important additions to TGC: Please welcome regular contributors T.J. Dietsch and Chris Hunter.

"What?! New contributors? Where's Alex going?"

Fret not. I'm still here. I will post frequently and have final say on all stuff that goes on this blog. The only change is that you'll be getting more informed and opinionated blogging from two highly qualified individuals. More info = happy readers. A little bit on the new recruits to the Curve:

TJ I worked with young TJ during my time at Wizard. He's written a number of stories for the mag and recently had his first contribution to Newsarama on John Byrne's Mid-Ohio Con appearance. TJ's a solid writer with a good nose for news and plenty of opinions about comics. Keep your eye on him.

Chris If you ever lurk on a messageboard, I'm sure you've come across Chris Hunter's name. A regular poster with clear and informed opinions, Chris graced us with his comments at his own personal blog and a variety of comic news sites. His technical savvy and comic knowledge will be invaluable.

So, enjoy the site, let me know what you think. And if you see anything that merits our coverage, please, let me know. Thanks.

Alex Segura Jr.
