First Curve

Well, here it is. My first and hopefully only attempt at a semi-daily comic book news blog.

I'd like to clarify that this will be a news-heavy blog. This isn't a rumor column, nor will it rely on my rants too heavily. I can't promise that I won't chime in on the news every once in a while, but the main thrust will be to provide readers with links, news and information about this wacky industry of ours. In short, I'm not competing with The Beat or Lying in the Gutters. If anything, I'll be linking to them often.

Now, what qualifies me to run a comic book blog? Well, not much. I don't think you need a lengthy resume to blog, as proven by the online journals that populate the Internet. On the other hand, I do have some experience in the comic book industry and the journalism field. Just finished spending about a year and change at Wizard, and previously I worked with the very talented Matt Brady at Newsarama.
