FirstWave's Last Straw

It seems an ugly secret from the small press world is beginning to rear its head publicly. Several individuals have reported both themselves and others being alledgedly scammed by FirstWave Printing out of their money in exchange for either shoddy product or no product at all.

The lack of service on FirstWave's part seems to have led to the months-long delay of Angry Dog Press' Potlatch 4. This report seemed to confirm other, less-publicized messageboard postings about the company, many of them on the DigitalWebbing.com boards (1, 2, 3) as well as on the PencilJack Forums and the Final Planet Website.

Now, in addition to responses posted at both sites, Dreamchilde Press is also speaking out about its unpleasant experience with FirstWave, also providing scanned samples of the botched work with it. As yet, FirstWave's Owner Brad Linder has yet to publicly respond to these allegations, though there have been anecdotal accounts of Linder treatening clients with legal action should they speak publicly about their flawed or missing transactions.
