Yoshida on Thor: Son of Asgard

The Pulse sits down with Akira Yoshida, writer of Marvel's ,i>Thor: Son of Asgard. Currently the only ongoing book featuring the "dead" God of Thunder, the series was originally planned as a six-issue mini-series. Because of good sales numbers, though, the book was given the green light as an ongoing series. Click on the headline for more.

I'm not really a big fan of "flashback" type books myself, unless they're running in the main title as a flashback mini-series, a la Nightwing: Year One, but as long as the content doesn't really erase or negate much of what's come before, I can usually deal with it. How do you guys feel about these kind of books? I find it interesting that this book is going, but books like X-Men: The Hidden Years were canned when Quesada took over. Aren't they basically the same thing?
